Modon posts Dh3.9 billion profit, Dh46 billion backlog signals strong pipeline

## Significant Profit Growth

Abu Dhabi-based developer Modon achieved a net profit of Dh3.9 billion in 2025, driven by a surge in real estate sales and an expanding project pipeline. The company's revenue reached Dh13.8 billion, with a backlog of Dh46 billion, indicating strong future income potential.

## Real Estate Sales Surge

Real estate sales were a major contributor, totaling Dh36.3 billion, nearly tripling from the previous year. Key projects on Reem Island and Hudayriyat Island in Abu Dhabi saw repeated sell-outs. Internationally, the Ras El Hekma project in Egypt generated Dh5.8 billion in sales, while operations in Spain continued to provide steady income.

## Diversified Revenue Streams

Modon's asset and investment management revenue increased by 13.2% to Dh655 million, with high occupancy rates across properties. Hospitality revenue also rose by 38.9% to Dh792 million, supported by higher room rates and occupancy. The company hosted 896 events, doubling its revenue from events, catering, and tourism to Dh5 billion.

## Strategic Expansion

Chairman Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi highlighted the company's strategic transformation, focusing on development, investment, and asset management. Managing Director Abdullah Al Sahi emphasized the strengthening of Modon's operational platform and diversification of its investment portfolio.

## Future Outlook

Modon ended the year with a net cash position of Dh1.8 billion, providing a solid foundation for future expansion. The company plans to convert its backlog into revenue while expanding its recurring income from asset management, hospitality, and events.
