Emirates Group reports record revenue, profit despite late-year disruption

## Record Financial Performance

Emirates Group has announced record profits and revenue for the financial year 2025-26, despite facing significant disruptions in the Gulf region towards the end of the period. The Group, which includes Emirates airline and dnata, reported a profit before tax of Dh24.4 billion, marking a 7% increase from the previous year. Revenue reached Dh150.5 billion, up 3%, while cash assets grew by 12% to Dh59.6 billion.

## Operational Challenges

The last month of the financial year was particularly challenging due to military activities in the Gulf, which disrupted air traffic. Despite these challenges, Emirates managed to restore operations gradually, focusing on cargo to maintain essential goods movement.

## Airline Performance

Emirates airline maintained its status as the world's most profitable airline, with a profit before tax of Dh22.8 billion and revenues of Dh130.9 billion. The airline's cash assets reached Dh54.9 billion, a 10% increase. Emirates carried 53.2 million passengers, with a passenger seat factor of 78.4%.

## Fleet Expansion

Emirates continued to expand its fleet, receiving 15 new Airbus A350 aircraft, bringing the total fleet to 277 aircraft. The airline also announced new aircraft orders worth $41.4 billion, extending deliveries into 2038.

## Future Outlook

Looking ahead, Emirates Group plans to continue investing in aircraft, infrastructure, and technology. The Group remains optimistic about overcoming future challenges, emphasizing its strong business model and Dubai's strategic position as a global aviation hub.
