## Nestle's Strategic Shift

Nestle has announced the sale of its mainstream vitamins, minerals, and supplements division to the American private equity firm Yellow Wood Partners. The transaction, valued at $1 billion, is part of Nestle's strategy to concentrate on areas where it holds a competitive edge.

## Focus on Premium Segment

The Swiss company will continue to operate in the premium segment of the supplements market, while the mainstream business will transition to new ownership. This move is seen as a strategic transformation of Nestle's portfolio, according to CEO Philipp Navratil.

## Completion Timeline

The deal, pending regulatory approval, is expected to finalize by mid-2027. In 2025, the business recorded sales of $1.2 billion, with operations primarily in the United States, and presence in Canada and China.
