## Skydiving Spectacle in Dubai

Samsung Gulf Electronics marked the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold8 with a breathtaking aerial display over Dubai. In collaboration with Skydive Dubai, 20 professional skydivers formed the shape of the new foldable device while freefalling thousands of feet above the city.

## Innovative Device Features

The Galaxy Z Fold8, unveiled at Galaxy Unpacked in London on July 22, 2026, is Samsung's lightest foldable phone yet, weighing just 201 grams. It features a 10:16 cover screen and a 4:3 main display, offering a versatile experience for users.

## Precision and Technology

Skydivers wore the new Galaxy Watch Ultra2 or Galaxy Watch9 to synchronize their movements precisely. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is designed for extreme conditions, featuring a titanium body and a bright display visible even during skydiving.

## Capturing the Moment

The entire event, from planning to execution, was documented in a cinematic film. UAE athlete Ahmed Al Shehhi participated, capturing unique aerial footage with the Galaxy Z Fold8.

Fadi Abu Shamat, Vice President at Samsung Gulf Electronics, emphasized the innovative spirit of the Galaxy Z Fold8, reflecting the ambition and boldness of the Dubai skyline stunt. This event is one of Samsung's major regional celebrations following the global launch.
