In addition to playing football, Thiem has been appointed as an ambassador for the 2026 UEFA Super Cup. The event will take place in Austria at Red Bull Salzburg’s stadium on August 12. Thiem expressed his excitement about this role, highlighting his lifelong connection to football.

During his tennis career, Thiem secured 348 ATP match wins and 17 ATP titles. His most notable victory came at the 2020 US Open, where he triumphed over Alexander Zverev in a thrilling five-set final to claim his first Grand Slam title.
