Gosling will portray Johnny Blaze, a stunt motorcyclist who becomes the host for a demon known as the Spirit of Vengeance. This role has a cinematic history, previously played by Nicolas Cage in two films that grossed over $361 million worldwide. Another version of the character, Robbie Reyes, was featured in the TV series "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

## Directed by Shawn Levy

The upcoming Ghost Rider film will be directed by Shawn Levy, who has worked with Gosling on other projects, including "Star Wars: Starfighter." The idea for the Ghost Rider film emerged during their collaboration on this project. Jonathan Tropper is set to write the script, with the film expected to release in 2028.

## Long-Awaited Role
