## Regional Condemnation
The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and several other Muslim-majority countries have strongly criticized recent Israeli actions at the Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. These nations have expressed their disapproval of what they describe as provocative measures by Israeli authorities and settlers.
## Allegations of Provocation
The foreign ministers of the UAE, Jordan, Türkiye, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar have condemned the incursions by Israeli settlers, which they claim are led by extremist ministers. They also denounce the raising of the Israeli flag within the mosque's courtyards and the erection of tents by Israeli police.
## Call for International Intervention
These actions, according to the ministers, violate international law and United Nations resolutions. They urge the global community to intervene and ensure unrestricted access to the holy site for Muslim worshippers. The ministers emphasize that these actions threaten peace efforts based on a two-state solution.
## Preservation of Historical Status
The ministers reaffirm their commitment to preserving the historical and legal status quo of Jerusalem's holy sites. They highlight the special role of the Hashemite custodianship in maintaining the sanctity of these sites and stress that Al Aqsa Mosque is exclusively a place of worship for Muslims.
## Demand for Immediate Action
The group calls on Israel to lift access restrictions to the Old City of Jerusalem and to cease actions that they claim alter the historical and demographic character of the area. They also urge the international community to take a firm stance against these practices.
