## Significant Growth in Real Estate Transactions

Abu Dhabi's real estate market saw transactions reach Dh117 billion in the first half of 2026, marking a 112% increase from the same period in 2025. This surge highlights the emirate's growing appeal as a global investment hub.

## Sales and Mortgage Transactions

Sales transactions were a major driver, with values rising by 163.7% to Dh86.1 billion across 16,838 deals. Mortgage transactions also grew, reaching Dh26.7 billion, a 33.5% increase.

## Foreign Investment Surge

Foreign direct investment in Abu Dhabi's real estate hit a record Dh13.8 billion, a 309% rise compared to the previous year. The number of nationalities investing increased to 116, with significant contributions from the UK, China, and the US.

## Expansion of Investment Zones

The Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre approved eight new investment zones, bringing the total to 50. These zones attracted Dh75 billion in investments, an increase of 181% from the previous year.

## Regulatory and Market Developments

The Centre registered 28 new real estate projects, reflecting a 16% growth. Additionally, 2,040 licenses for real estate professions were issued, indicating a 34% increase. The Madhmoun platform has enhanced transparency by issuing over 41,200 permits for real estate advertisements.
