DAMAC Foundation has committed Dh100 million to the Edge of Life campaign, a global effort to address child hunger and malnutrition. This initiative, launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to save five million children worldwide.

## Strategic Agreement

The pledge was formalized through an agreement between Mohammad Al Gergawi of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives and Hussain Sajwani, Chairman of DAMAC Properties. The signing took place in the presence of Dubai's Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

## Campaign Goals

The Edge of Life campaign seeks to raise at least Dh1 billion during Ramadan to fund sustainable programs. It collaborates with organizations like UNICEF and Save the Children to implement these initiatives.

## UAE's Humanitarian Role

This campaign highlights the UAE's commitment to global humanitarian efforts, particularly in addressing urgent child welfare issues. In 2025, alarming statistics showed 118 million children faced hunger, with many suffering from severe malnutrition.
