Sudheesh allegedly lured Anil Kumar to an under-construction house under the pretense of offering him a job. Once there, Anil Kumar was confined in a soundproof room, chained, and beaten.

## Involvement of the Son

The attackers also forced Anil Kumar's son, Achu, to the location at knifepoint, where he was similarly assaulted. The gang threatened to use explosives on the victims and harm Anil Kumar's daughter if the marriage did not proceed.

## Escape and Rescue

Achu managed to escape and alert the authorities, leading to the rescue of both victims. They were taken to a hospital in Varkala for treatment, with Anil Kumar suffering a fractured arm and Achu sustaining finger injuries.

## Police Investigation

During a search of the premises, police discovered country-made bombs, a firearm, and chains, suggesting plans for a more severe crime. A joint police team is actively searching for the five accused, including Sudheesh and Shamnad, who remain at large.
