## Completion of Vodafone Stake Sale

Abu Dhabi-based e& has successfully completed the sale of its entire stake in Vodafone Group, amounting to Dh21.9 billion, or approximately $5.95 billion. The transaction involved the transfer of nearly 3.95 billion Vodafone shares to financial institutions including BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole, and Société Générale.

## Financial Details

The sale generated gross cash proceeds of Dh21.5 billion, equivalent to $5.84 billion, with shares priced at around 110.5 pence each. e& is set to receive an additional Dh400 million, or $110 million, on July 30, linked to Vodafone’s final dividend for the 2026 financial year. This will complete the total transaction value.

## Strategic Focus

The decision to sell the Vodafone stake aligns with e&'s strategic priorities, allowing the company to concentrate on its core business areas. The sale was initially announced on July 10, under an agreement with Vega, an acquisition entity owned by the Niel family group.
