This move follows the High Court's order to cancel the technical evaluation process for these services at Indian missions in the UAE, Kuwait, Singapore, and Australia.

## Urgent Hearing Requested

Solicitor General Tushar Mehta presented the case to a Supreme Court Bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant, seeking an urgent hearing. The Chief Justice assured that the appeal would be addressed on Monday.

## High Court's Concerns

The Delhi High Court had identified significant issues in the evaluation of bids for outsourcing contracts, citing a lack of transparency and fairness. The court found that the process violated Article 14 of the Indian Constitution, which ensures equality before the law.

## Fresh Tenders Ordered

The High Court directed the Ministry of External Affairs and the relevant Indian missions to initiate a new tender process within a month. Existing service providers are allowed to continue operations until new contracts are finalized, ensuring no disruption in services.
