## Unique Iftar Timing in Turkish Village
In a small Turkish village, residents experience a unique Ramadan tradition due to a narrow street that divides the community into two administrative regions. This street, only seven meters wide, separates the village into Şentepe in Ordu province and Ambartepe in Samsun province.
## One-Minute Difference in Iftar
The division results in a one-minute difference in the Maghrib call to prayer, leading to different iftar times on each side of the street. This occurs because each side follows the prayer schedule of its respective province, based on distinct astronomical calculations.
## Harmonious Community Tradition
Despite the difference, the community has embraced this peculiarity. Residents often gather for iftar together, agreeing on a single time to break their fast, while most follow the call to prayer from their local mosque. This tradition has been part of the village's life for nearly 80 years, fostering a sense of unity rather than division.
