## Award Recognition

Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) has been honored with the Best Digital City Experience award for its "Domestic Workers Management" initiative. This accolade was part of the Hamdan bin Mohammed Programme for Government Services, highlighting the city's strides in digital transformation.

## Streamlined Services

The initiative, developed in collaboration with several government entities, consolidates nine essential services related to domestic workers into a single digital platform. These services include employment contracts, health insurance, and visa processing, among others. The platform has significantly reduced the steps required for service completion from 11 to six and minimized customer visits.

## Cost and Environmental Benefits

Since its launch, the platform has processed over 10,800 transactions, saving customers approximately Dh4.33 million. It has also contributed to environmental sustainability by reducing paper usage and cutting carbon emissions by 72.5 tonnes.

## Future Plans

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving this milestone. He noted that the next phase will focus on further integrating government services to enhance efficiency and customer experience. The initiative is part of a broader vision to unify services under a single-window model, aligning with the directives of Dubai's leadership.
