A tragic fire in a residential building in Noida's Mamura village resulted in the deaths of two individuals. The blaze, which occurred on Wednesday, is suspected to have originated from a spark during the charging of an electric vehicle.

## Rescue Efforts

Approximately 50 families were evacuated from the G+4 structure. The operation involved seven fire tenders and hydraulic platforms. Despite the swift evacuation, two residents succumbed to severe smoke inhalation after being taken to a district hospital.

## Fire Spread

The fire reportedly began when a spark ignited an electric bike, subsequently spreading to nearby petrol vehicles. Smoke from the ground-floor parking area quickly permeated the building, affecting residents on upper floors.
