## Kalimat Foundation's Global Literacy Effort

Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, through the Kalimat Foundation, has extended its literacy initiative by donating six portable libraries to Malaysian schools. These libraries contain 600 Arabic-language children's books, benefiting over 4,000 students.

## Partnership for Educational Growth

The initiative, part of the "Pledge a Library" program, was executed in collaboration with Kota Buku and IBBY Malaysia. The goal is to enhance Arabic language education by providing quality reading materials to primary schools across Malaysia.

## Celebrating Arabic Culture

During her visit to Seri Bintang South National School in Kuala Lumpur, Sheikha Bodour was welcomed by local educational leaders. She participated in events celebrating Arabic language and culture, including storytelling and creative workshops.

## Strengthening Educational Ties

Adibah Omar, CEO of Kota Buku, emphasized the collaboration's role in enriching Arabic language learning and strengthening cultural ties between Malaysia and the UAE. The initiative is part of Kalimat Foundation's mission to expand access to Arabic books globally, having already distributed over 216 libraries in 30 countries.
