## New Futures Contracts
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has introduced six new single stock futures to its derivatives market. These futures are linked to major UAE companies such as ADNOC Gas, ADNOC Drilling, and Sharjah Islamic Bank. This expansion increases ADX's offerings to 17 futures products, providing investors with more options for hedging and risk management.
## Strategic Focus
The new contracts cover sectors crucial to Abu Dhabi's economic diversification, including energy, AI, and logistics. ADX's derivatives market, launched in 2021, has grown steadily, reflecting increased trading activity and institutional interest.
## Bloomberg Integration
ADX has integrated its market data with the Bloomberg Terminal, giving 350,000 users worldwide real-time access to its derivatives market. This move aims to enhance the visibility of Abu Dhabi-listed securities among global investors.
## Changes in Trading Rules
ADX announced that all futures contracts will be cash-settled and centrally cleared through Abu Dhabi Clear. Additionally, daily price limits on ETFs and futures contracts will be removed from August 3, 2026, to improve market liquidity and responsiveness.
## Multi-Asset Marketplace
These developments are part of ADX's strategy to create a multi-asset marketplace, attracting international investment and strengthening Abu Dhabi's position as a financial hub. The exchange continues to introduce innovative trading instruments to connect with global investment flows.
