## US Strikes Iranian Targets
The United States has launched a third series of military strikes against Iranian targets, focusing on approximately 140 sites. These operations are in response to recent attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
## Details of the Operation
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that the strikes involved precision munitions from land and sea-based fighter aircraft, drones, and naval vessels. The targets included Iranian missile and drone facilities, naval capabilities, ammunition storage, communication networks, and coastal surveillance sites.
## Video Footage Released
CENTCOM has released video footage showcasing the coordinated land, sea, and air strikes on these Iranian military sites. This footage highlights the precision and scope of the operations.
## Ongoing Operations
Over the past three nights, US forces have targeted more than 300 sites. These actions aim to diminish Iran's ability to threaten civilian mariners and commercial vessels navigating the strategic Strait of Hormuz.
## Commercial Traffic in the Strait
Despite the military operations, commercial shipping continues through the Strait of Hormuz. US forces have facilitated the safe passage of over 800 commercial vessels and 400 million barrels of crude oil since early May.
