The Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs has introduced its 2026 summer programs under the theme "A Summer That Makes an Impact." These initiatives aim to enrich the knowledge of young people, reinforce Islamic values, and strengthen national identity. The programs are scheduled to run throughout July and August, targeting both boys and girls across various age groups.

## Educational and Character Building

The programs offer a blend of Quran study, ethical teachings, and purposeful activities. They will take place at multiple mosques in Sharjah and at the Department's headquarters. Key offerings include the Summer Educational Course for Boys, the Summer Programme for Girls, and the "Hearts Attached to the Mosques" initiative.

## Leadership and Vision

Dr. Issa Saif Ahmed bin Hanzel, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs, emphasized that these programs are designed to prepare a generation equipped with sound knowledge and strong values. The slogan "A Summer That Makes an Impact" highlights the aim of creating lasting positive effects on young people's character.
