Dubai's City Walk introduces barrierless paid parking with Parkin

## New Parking Experience at City Walk

City Walk in Dubai has introduced a new parking system that eliminates the need for traditional barriers. This initiative, in collaboration with Parkin, aims to modernize the parking experience by reducing congestion and wait times.

## How It Works

The system uses cameras to automatically read vehicle number plates as cars enter and exit the parking area. Drivers no longer need to stop for a ticket or card swipe. The first hour of parking is free, and thereafter, a flat rate of Dh 5 per hour is charged, inclusive of VAT.

## Payment and Validation

To use the system, drivers must validate their vehicle's number plate through the Parkin app or at participating outlets in City Walk. Once registered, the system automatically recognizes the vehicle on future visits, and charges are deducted from the linked Parkin account.
