## flydubai Expands Middle East Network
flydubai is set to restart its daily flight service between Dubai and Aleppo on July 20, marking the resumption of direct air travel between the two cities after nearly 14 years. This move makes Aleppo the airline's second destination in Syria, alongside Damascus.
## Daily Service Details
The flights will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, in partnership with Emirates, allowing passengers to use a single ticket for both airlines. The outbound flight, FZ1191, will leave Dubai at 11am, arriving in Aleppo at 1.40pm local time. The return flight, FZ1192, departs Aleppo at 2.40pm, landing back in Dubai at 7.20pm.
## Ticket Pricing
Economy Lite fares for the route start at Dh1,800, while Business Class fares begin at Dh8,000.
## Strengthening UAE-Syria Ties
According to flydubai's CEO, Ghaith Al Ghaith, the airline aims to support Dubai's aviation hub by connecting to underserved markets. The Aleppo route is expected to enhance economic, cultural, and familial connections between the UAE and Syria, benefiting business travelers, cargo, and those visiting friends and family.
## Building on Previous Success
The decision to resume Aleppo flights follows the successful relaunch of services to Damascus last year, which saw strong demand. flydubai's Chief Commercial Officer, Hamad Obaidalla, noted that the Aleppo route offers more travel options and convenience for passengers traveling between Dubai and Syria.
## Future Expansion Plans
flydubai continues to expand its network, having recently added destinations like Benghazi in Libya and Bangkok in Thailand, with plans to launch flights to Pokhara in Nepal in September.
