## Official Channels for Passport and Visa Services

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has issued a warning to Indian nationals in the UAE about the use of unauthorised agents for passport and visa services. The embassy emphasized the importance of using only official channels for these services.

## End of Outsourcing Arrangements

As of July 1, 2026, the embassy and the Consulate General of India in Dubai have terminated their outsourcing agreements with BLS International and SGIVS Global. All related services are now directly managed by the Indian missions from their premises.

## New Online Booking Portal

A new online portal, book.passportindiauae.com, has been launched to facilitate the booking of appointments for passport, visa, and attestation services. The embassy clarified that appointments through this portal are free, and no third party is authorised to charge fees or arrange appointments.

## Public Advisory

The embassy advised the public to avoid making payments to unauthorised agents or agencies claiming to represent the Indian missions. It urged individuals who have been misled or overcharged to report such incidents through official contact channels.

## Stay Informed and Vigilant
