## Exam Details
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced that special licensure exams for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) will be conducted from May 28 to 30, 2026. These exams will take place in various locations including Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Kuwait, Qatar, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan.
## Purpose of SPLE
The Special Professional Licensure Examinations (SPLE) allow Filipino professionals working abroad to obtain or complete their Philippine licensure without returning home. This initiative supports career advancement for OFWs while they continue their employment overseas.
## Oral Examinations
In the UAE, oral exams for professional electronics engineers will be held in Abu Dhabi from May 28 to 30, while those for professional mechanical engineers will occur in Dubai from May 24 to 29.
## Professions Covered
A total of 39 licensure exams will be offered, covering fields such as aeronautical engineering, architecture, accounting, civil engineering, nursing, and more.
## Application Process
Online applications are open until March 16, 2026. Applicants must apply and pay through the PRC’s Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS). Fees vary based on the degree requirement of the course.
## Required Documents
Applicants need to submit an application form, passport-size photos, and other specified documents. These must be submitted online by March 16, with physical copies required on the exam day.
