The crash, which occurred after a reported navigation system malfunction, is under investigation. Search operations are complicated by rough seas and strong winds, which have scattered debris over a wide area. The main fuselage and five crew members remain missing.
## Government and Airline Response
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed authorities to utilize all resources to locate the missing crew. K2 Airways is cooperating with civil aviation authorities in the investigation. The search involves aircraft and other assets in a coordinated effort to find the missing individuals.
