## Health Initiative in Dubai

Dubai has launched a community health initiative offering free medical screenings in public parks during Ramadan. This effort, part of the "Step of Life" campaign by Dubai’s Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, aims to promote early detection and preventive healthcare.

## Screening Locations and Dates

The screenings will be available on February 26, March 5, and March 12 at popular locations such as Quranic Park, Kite Beach, and Nad Al Sheba Park. Services will be provided from 4pm until the Maghrib call to prayer, with extensions if needed.

## Services Offered

Residents can access eye exams, blood pressure checks, and blood glucose tests. These services are designed to identify chronic diseases early and encourage healthier living.

## Community Engagement

Mobile medical units will deliver health messages directly to the community, making healthcare more accessible during Ramadan when families gather in public spaces. Mohammed Musbah Dahi, the initiative's general coordinator, emphasized the importance of family-level awareness in building a healthy society.
