## Funeral Procession Details

The body of Ayatollah Khamenei was transported to the holy city of Karbala in Iraq after a large procession in Najaf. The events in Iraq were attended by millions of mourners. The body will eventually be laid to rest in Mashhad, Iran, near the shrine of Imam Reza.
