## Film Pulled from Streaming
The film "Satluj," starring Diljit Dosanjh, was removed from ZEE5 just two days after its release. The platform cited "current developments" as the reason for its unavailability in India, sparking discussions about censorship and artistic freedom.
## Background of 'Satluj'
Directed by Honey Trehan, "Satluj" is based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. The film faced numerous challenges with the censor board before finally being released on ZEE5 in an uncut version. However, its availability was short-lived.
## FWICE's Criticism
BN Tiwari, president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, questioned Dosanjh's choice of controversial projects. He expressed concern about the potential impact on the actor's public image and emphasized the importance of considering national interests when selecting roles.
## Director's Perspective
Honey Trehan, the film's director, expressed frustration over the lack of clarity regarding the objections to "Satluj." He noted that he never received direct communication about who opposed the film and described the situation as emotionally challenging.
## Diljit Dosanjh's Warning
Before the film's removal, Dosanjh had advised fans to watch "Satluj" quickly, hinting at its uncertain future on the platform. While the film remains unavailable in India, it is reportedly still accessible in some international markets.
