## Introduction of New Portal
Indian expatriates in the UAE can now access a new online portal to schedule appointments for passport, visa, and attestation services. This initiative, launched by the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai, aims to streamline consular services.
## Appointment Booking and Entry Guidelines
Appointments can be made through the portal book.passportindiauae.com. Applicants are advised to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled time. Only the applicant is allowed entry, except for minors who must be accompanied by both parents.
In Abu Dhabi, services are accessed via the Embassy's main gate on Al Safarat Street, while in Dubai, passport and visa services are available through Gate No. 2 at the Consulate General. Attestation services and document queries are handled at Gate No. 1.
## Limited Walk-in Services
Walk-in services are now restricted to 9am to 11am. Priority is given to cases involving newborns and emergency certificates. Other applicants are encouraged to book appointments to minimize waiting times.
## Applicant Guidelines
Applicants must bring completed forms and necessary documents. Passport applications should be filled out at mportal.passportindia.gov.in/mission/. Fees are accepted only in cash, and the new fee structure has been in effect since July 1, 2026.
## Contact Information
The Embassy and Consulate's contact details remain unchanged. The toll-free number is 800 46342 (800 INDIA), and WhatsApp inquiries can be sent to +971 54 309 0571. Email communication is available at pbsk.dubai@mea.gov.in.
