Etihad Rail offers 50% discounts for children, 20% off for seniors

## Discount Details

Etihad Rail has announced special fare discounts for children and senior citizens as part of its Passenger Charter. Children under 18 can enjoy a 50% discount on train fares, while seniors aged 60 and above receive a 20% discount. Infants up to two years old can travel for free if seated on an adult's lap.

## Identification Requirements

Passengers are advised to carry valid identification to verify eligibility for these discounts. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

## Fare Structure

Standard fares apply to adults aged 18 to 59 unless other discounts are applicable. Introductory fares for the Abu Dhabi-Fujairah route start at Dh55 for comfort class and Dh120 for premium class. Future route fares will be announced later.

## Booking and Travel Policies

All Etihad Rail journeys require advance booking, with tickets available up to five minutes before departure. Travel without a valid ticket is not permitted.

## Security Measures

A new security office has been established at the Mohammed bin Zayed City station by Abu Dhabi Police to enhance passenger safety and provide various security services.
