## International Training Opportunity

Etihad Airways is offering its top Emirati airport trainees an international training experience for the first time. This summer, seven UAE Nationals will gain hands-on experience at busy airports in Copenhagen, Paris, Phuket, and Kuala Lumpur.

## Program Details

The initiative is part of Etihad’s Airports and Ground Operations Programmes, which aim to prepare UAE Nationals for long-term careers in aviation. The program begins with operational training at Zayed International Airport, where trainees learn various airport functions such as check-in, boarding, and baggage operations.

## Global Exposure

The overseas deployment allows trainees to apply their skills in real-world settings, working alongside Etihad’s international teams. This exposure helps them understand different passenger flows and operational demands, while also experiencing diverse cultural environments.

## Career Pathways

This initiative is a component of Etihad’s broader Emiratisation strategy, which focuses on creating career pathways for UAE Nationals. Graduates of these programs have already taken on roles in East Asia, Europe, the GCC, and North Africa.
