## Etihad's Milestone in France
Etihad Airways is celebrating two decades of operations in France by expanding its flight schedule to Paris. The airline, which first launched its Abu Dhabi to Paris route in June 2006, now offers up to three daily flights between the two cities.
## Growing Demand and Fleet Expansion
The increase in flights comes as demand for travel to Europe rises, particularly during the summer months. Etihad is responding by boosting its Airbus A380 services to Paris. The airline's overall network has grown significantly, now operating 124 aircraft to 118 destinations worldwide.
## Strategic Growth in Europe
Etihad's expansion in France is part of a broader strategy to enhance its presence in Europe. This includes new routes, increased flight frequencies, and codeshare partnerships, providing more options for travelers to connect through Abu Dhabi to various global destinations.
## Future Plans
Looking ahead, Etihad aims to expand its fleet to around 250 aircraft, which will enable the airline to add more destinations and increase flight frequencies. This growth is expected to strengthen Abu Dhabi's position as a key hub for long-haul travel, including routes to and from France.
