## Modest Advance Sales for 'Alpha'
Alia Bhatt's much-anticipated film 'Alpha' has recorded modest advance ticket sales ahead of its release. The film, which is the first female-led entry in the Yash Raj Films Spy Universe, has not yet generated significant box office momentum.
## Ticket Sales Figures
Advance bookings for 'Alpha' opened just two days before its release, resulting in approximately Rs 1.58 crore in net pre-sales in India. This equates to over Rs 2 crore gross, with around 11,255 tickets sold across 2,987 shows. The response in major urban multiplexes has been relatively subdued.
## Industry Expectations
Trade analysts are predicting an opening day collection in the range of Rs 5–7 crore. The film's performance will largely depend on audience reception and word of mouth over the weekend.
## Competitive Box Office Landscape
'Alpha' enters a competitive market, with Akshay Kumar's 'Welcome to the Jungle' maintaining a strong presence despite mixed reviews. Meanwhile, Huma Qureshi's 'Baby Do Die Do' is also vying for audience attention.
## Alia Bhatt's Role and Film Budget
Alia Bhatt, who reportedly charged Rs 17 crore for her role, leads the cast alongside Bobby Deol, Sharvari, and Anil Kapoor. The film was made on an estimated budget of Rs 100 crore and has received a UA 16+ rating from the Central Board of Film Certification, with minor edits to violent scenes.
## Previous Projects
This marks Bhatt's third action-heavy film following 'Heart of Stone' and 'Jigra'. While 'Jigra' received critical acclaim, it did not achieve significant box office success.
