## Iran's Warning to Oil Tankers
Iran has issued a stern warning to oil tankers navigating the Strait of Hormuz, demanding they adhere to designated routes or face potential military action. This warning comes as indirect negotiations between the US and Iran are postponed until after the funeral of Iran's late Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei.
## Diplomatic Efforts and Regional Tensions
Diplomatic efforts to resolve the ongoing Middle East conflict are set to resume post-funeral. Mediators have indicated that the next round of US-Iran talks will occur after the mourning period. Meanwhile, Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif plans to attend the funeral before visiting Turkey.
## Bahrain Accuses Iran at UN
Bahrain's Foreign Minister has accused Iran of targeting civilians during the conflict, claiming over 200 missiles and 600 drones were launched at Bahraini territory. He urged the UN Security Council to address these alleged violations.
## Lebanon-Israel Negotiations
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun has defended ongoing negotiations with Israel, emphasizing that Lebanon will not cede any territory. These talks aim to secure Israel's withdrawal from Lebanese land, despite opposition from Iran-backed Hezbollah.
## Syrian Diplomatic Assurances
Syria's Foreign Minister Asaad Al Shaibani reassured Lebanese leaders that Damascus has no intention of military intervention in Lebanon, despite US pressure. Shaibani's visit to Beirut included meetings with Lebanese officials and an invitation for President Aoun to visit Syria.
## US-Iran Talks Progress
Recent indirect talks in Doha between the US and Iran have shown positive progress, with both sides agreeing to establish a communication channel to monitor violations of their memorandum of understanding. However, direct negotiations remain off the table as efforts continue to end the conflict that began with US-Israeli strikes on Iran.
