In Dubai's digital real estate market, verification badges are meant to assure consumers of a listing's compliance with regulations. However, Bin Ali argues that verification should confirm that the permit is for the exact property being advertised. He has encountered cases where apartment listings used permit information for land or plots with different classifications and sizes.
