## Program Overview
The Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, in collaboration with the Nafis Youth Council, has launched the second batch of the Alpha Program. This initiative is designed to equip Emirati middle school students with essential skills for future employment in the private sector.
## Strategic Partnerships
The program is being implemented in partnership with Emirates National Schools in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. It involves collaboration with leading private-sector companies such as Presight PwC, Atkins Realis, Deloitte, and Bee'ah Group.
## Program Phases
The Alpha Program consists of two phases. The first phase includes interactive workshops at Emirates National Schools, focusing on career exploration and skill development, such as resume writing and interview techniques. The second phase involves a five-day job simulation with partner companies, providing students with real-world work experience.
## Objectives and Vision
The initiative aims to instill a private sector work culture among students, helping them explore career paths aligned with their interests and develop both personal and professional skills. This aligns with the UAE leadership’s vision to prepare a generation ready for economic transformation.
## Leadership Insights
Ghannam Al Mazrouei, Secretary General of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council, emphasized the importance of early preparation for the job market. He noted that the program offers students valuable exposure to industry demands, boosting their confidence and capabilities.
