British Airways scales back services to seven Middle East cities for summer 2026

## Flight Reductions Announced

British Airways has announced a reduction in flights to seven Middle East destinations for the summer of 2026. This decision comes amid ongoing regional tensions and conflicts.

## Affected Routes

The airline will cut its London to Dubai flights from three daily services to one. This reduced schedule will be in effect until October 24, with plans to resume the regular daily service on August 1 and add a second daily flight from October 16.

Flights to Doha, Riyadh, and Tel Aviv will also see reductions, moving from twice daily to once daily. Normal operations for these routes are expected to resume in August.

## Suspensions and Discontinuations

Services to Bahrain and Amman have been suspended for the remainder of the summer, with plans to restart on October 25. Additionally, British Airways will permanently discontinue its Jeddah route starting April 24.

## Customer Support

The airline has assured affected passengers that they are being contacted directly and offered alternative travel options. British Airways has also been operating relief flights and increasing capacity on key long-haul routes to assist customers during this period.
