## Incident Overview
A drone attack targeted the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on May 17, 2026. The attack involved three drones, with two intercepted by UAE's air defenses. The third drone hit an electricity generator outside the plant's inner perimeter, causing a fire.
## International Reactions
Several countries, including Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Egypt, have condemned the attack. These nations expressed strong solidarity with the UAE, emphasizing the threat to regional security and stability.

Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack, highlighting the threat to regional security. Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also denounced the attack, praising the UAE's air defense response and reaffirming its support for the UAE.

The UAE Ministry of Defence is investigating the source of the drones and has pledged to respond to any threats to the country's security. The ministry remains committed to safeguarding national interests and maintaining stability.
