## Arrest for Dangerous Driving
Dubai Police have apprehended an Asian driver for engaging in hazardous driving behaviors. The individual was caught performing high-speed swerving, weaving between vehicles, and overtaking from the road shoulder, actions deemed extremely dangerous by authorities.
## Serious Traffic Violations
Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, head of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, highlighted the severity of these violations. He emphasized that such reckless actions endanger all road users, especially on high-speed roads where quick reactions are crucial to avoid accidents.
## Legal Consequences
The vehicle involved has been impounded, and a fine of AED 50,000 is required for its release, in accordance with Local Decree No. (30) of 2023. This measure is part of efforts to deter dangerous driving practices.
## Public Encouraged to Report
Authorities are urging the public to report any dangerous driving incidents. Reports can be made through the "Police Eye" service or by contacting "We Are All Police" at 901. The police stress the importance of legal accountability for anyone violating road safety regulations.
