## Current Status

Among the eight confirmed cases, two additional cases are considered probable, and one remains inconclusive pending further tests. Tragically, three individuals from the ship have died, with two confirmed to have had the virus.

The first case, a 70-year-old Dutch man, showed symptoms shortly after the ship's departure. South African authorities have traced 97 contacts linked to the ship's cases as part of ongoing containment efforts.
