Fujairah's population reached 328,495 by mid-2025, marking an increase from 314,829 the previous year. The emirate's GDP also saw a rise, reaching Dh32.6 billion. This growth is attributed to expansions in sectors such as industry, tourism, and construction.

## Key Demographic Insights

Fujairah City remains the largest population center with 121,538 residents. The countryside areas of Fujairah and Dibba have populations of 113,920 and 52,413, respectively. The male population is significantly larger, with 214,313 men compared to 114,182 women.

## Economic and Industrial Developments

The emirate issued 2,806 building permits, indicating ongoing construction activity. The number of factories increased from 263 in 2024 to 277 in 2025, with a capital investment of Dh13.61 billion. Employment in these factories exceeds 21,700 workers.

## Education and Healthcare

Fujairah hosts 59 schools serving 46,418 students and five higher education institutions with 4,804 students. Healthcare facilities include eight hospitals and 93 medical centers, employing 971 doctors and 1,752 nurses.

## Tourism and Trade

The tourism sector welcomed nearly 802,000 guests in 2025, with 34 hotels offering over 5,000 rooms. Trade activities included 14,135 licenses issued and foreign trade valued at Dh3.2 billion, alongside Dh11.2 billion through the free zone.

## Infrastructure and Environment

Fujairah International Airport handled over 84,000 arriving and 73,000 departing passengers. Environmental efforts included collecting 812,000 tonnes of waste and treating 10.9 million cubic meters of waste materials.
