## Bhuvneshwar Kumar's IPL Performance
Bhuvneshwar Kumar, currently leading the wicket charts in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with 21 wickets in 11 matches, has made it clear that he is not considering a return to the Indian national cricket team. Despite his impressive performance, the 36-year-old swing bowler has expressed contentment with his current career status.
## Focus on Present
In a video released by his IPL team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Kumar stated that he no longer sets long-term goals, as past experiences have shown him that such expectations often lead to disappointment. He last played for India in 2022 and has since shifted his focus away from international cricket.
## Managing Workload
Kumar highlighted the benefits of not playing international cricket, noting that it allows him more time to rest and manage his workload effectively. He appreciates the balance of playing enough cricket to stay in form while also having time for other pursuits.
## Contentment with Career
While some former cricketers and experts have advocated for his return to the national team, Kumar remains satisfied with his achievements. He acknowledges the ups and downs of his career but feels that his current situation is rewarding and fulfilling.
