## Court Ruling
Bahrain's High Criminal Court has sentenced two men and a woman to life imprisonment for their alleged connections with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The court found the individuals guilty of conspiring with the IRGC to conduct hostile activities against Bahrain.
## Details of the Cases
In one case, two men were convicted of collaborating with Iranian intelligence to plan terrorist acts. They were fined 10,000 Bahraini dinars each, and their assets were confiscated. The first man, who fled to Iran, reportedly recruited the second man to support terrorist activities and gather intelligence on critical infrastructure in Bahrain.
In a separate case, a woman was sentenced for using social media to share sensitive information and promote Iranian aggression against Bahrain. She was accused of communicating with the IRGC to facilitate hostile actions.
## National Security Concerns
Bahrain's authorities emphasized the severity of crimes threatening national security, which can lead to severe penalties, including capital punishment. The prosecution highlighted the role of Iranian-backed groups in destabilizing the region, underscoring the ongoing tensions between Bahrain and Iran.
