## Introduction to Nudgeathon
Dubai has celebrated the graduation of its inaugural "Nudgeathon" cohort, a program designed to enhance government services through behavioral insights. This initiative, a collaboration between the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) and the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG), aims to improve policy design and service delivery.
## Program Highlights
The Nudgeathon involved a 100-day challenge, engaging 51 employees who developed ten projects using behavioral science principles. These projects addressed operational challenges and introduced new methods for creating flexible government services. An exhibition showcased these projects, emphasizing their potential impact on customer experience and service efficiency.
## Leadership and Vision
Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA Dubai, highlighted the program's role in redefining government service design. He emphasized the importance of understanding human behavior and investing in national talent to enhance service delivery and quality of life.
## Impact and Future Prospects
The initiative supports Dubai's vision of a proactive government ecosystem, focusing on customer experience and community safety. Mohammed Al Khatib from MBRSG described the program as a significant step in integrating behavioral sciences into government operations, enhancing decision-making and policy design. The partnership between GDRFA Dubai and MBRSG exemplifies the successful integration of academic knowledge with practical government applications.
