## Shaheen Afridi's Milestone

Shaheen Afridi has reached a significant milestone in his cricket career by taking his 400th international wicket. This achievement came during the first Test against Bangladesh in Mirpur, where he dismissed Mominul Haque on Day 4. Afridi is now the sixth Pakistani fast bowler to reach this landmark, joining an elite group of bowlers from the country.

## Bangladesh in Control

Despite Afridi's personal success, Pakistan is struggling in the Test match. Bangladesh posted a strong first innings score of 413, with contributions from various batsmen. In response, Pakistan managed 386, thanks to a maiden Test century by debutant Azan Awais, who scored 103.

Mehidy Hasan Miraz was instrumental for Bangladesh, taking five wickets to secure a first innings lead. By the end of Day 4, Bangladesh had extended their advantage to 179 runs, reaching 152/3 in their second innings. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, who scored a century in the first innings, remains unbeaten on 58.

## Afridi's Growing Legacy

At 26, Afridi has established himself as a key player for Pakistan across all formats. He achieved the 400-wicket milestone in his 211th international match, showcasing his consistency and endurance. Earlier in the Test, Afridi also became the first Pakistani bowler to take 100 wickets in the ICC World Test Championship.

While Bangladesh holds the upper hand in this Test, Afridi's achievements continue to highlight his status as one of Pakistan's modern cricket stars.
