Sharjah deploys firefighting robots in hazardous zones

## Advanced Robotic Firefighters

Sharjah Civil Defence has introduced cutting-edge firefighting robots to enhance safety and efficiency in tackling industrial fires. These robots are designed to operate in hazardous environments, reducing risks to human firefighters.

## Enhanced Safety Measures

The robots, known as "FFBOT," are equipped with advanced systems for firefighting and reconnaissance. They can withstand extreme temperatures and access areas that are unsafe for human entry, such as those with unstable structures or hazardous materials.

## Impressive Capabilities

Each robot can discharge water and foam at a rate of 8,000 liters per minute, reaching distances up to 100 meters. They are controlled wirelessly from up to 1,000 meters away and feature GPS navigation, smart cameras, and thermal sensors.

## Operational Integration

These robotic units are deployed alongside human teams during the most dangerous phases of industrial fires. They perform initial suppression and reconnaissance, allowing firefighters to enter under safer conditions. This integration has significantly improved response times and operational readiness in Sharjah.
