## New Traffic Regulation in Abu Dhabi

Starting May 15, 2026, Abu Dhabi will implement a ban on delivery motorcycles using certain high-speed roads. This move is part of an initiative to enhance road safety and minimize risks for both riders and other motorists.

## Affected Areas

The restriction will specifically target roads with speed limits of 120 km/h or more. Notably, the ban will include the section of Sheikh Zayed Street from Sheikh Zayed Bridge to Sheikh Zayed Tunnel.

## Objectives of the Ban

The Integrated Transport Centre, under Abu Dhabi Mobility, has introduced this regulation to improve traffic safety standards. The aim is to protect delivery riders and other road users while ensuring smoother traffic flow on major routes that often experience heavy and fast-moving traffic.
