UAE to train young Emiratis as ‘industrial storytellers’

## New Initiative for Young Emiratis

The UAE has introduced the Industrial Content Leaders programme, aimed at training young Emiratis to become storytellers for the nation's industrial sector. This initiative is a collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation, and IMI Media Academy.

## Programme Details

Set to begin this summer, the four-month course will guide participants through three key phases. Initially, they will gain foundational knowledge of the industrial sector. This will be followed by hands-on media production training using AI tools. Finally, participants will lead national content projects.

## Empowering the Next Generation

Hassan Al Nuaimi from MoIAT emphasized the programme's role in preparing young people to communicate the value of the UAE's industry through innovative approaches. Dr. Sonia Ben Jaafar of the Abdulla Al Ghurair Foundation highlighted the importance of young Emiratis telling their country's story, which contributes to national continuity.

## Building National Narratives

Ali Al Hammadi of IMI Media Academy noted the significance of shaping narratives alongside building industries. The programme aims to empower young talent to strengthen national identity and showcase the UAE's industrial ambitions globally.
