## Apology to NCW
Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi recently appeared before the National Commission for Women (NCW) to address the controversy surrounding the Hindi version of the song "Sarke Chunar." The song, which was released on YouTube on March 15, faced backlash due to its allegedly explicit lyrics.
## Fatehi's Statement
After the hearing in New Delhi, Fatehi expressed regret, stating there was no intention to offend anyone. She clarified that she was not involved in the Hindi adaptation and had only participated in the Kannada version of the song. Fatehi emphasized that her consent was not sought for the Hindi release.
## Public Reaction and Song Removal
The Hindi track's release led to significant criticism on social media, prompting its removal from YouTube. Despite this, clips of the song continue to circulate online. The lyricist, singer, and director associated with the song have also issued apologies.
## Future Plans
In light of the incident, Fatehi announced her intention to sponsor the education of orphaned girls, aiming to make a positive societal impact. The NCW has yet to release an official statement regarding the outcome of the hearing.
