## Vision for Healthcare in Abu Dhabi

Dr. Shamsheer outlined Burjeel's vision to create a next-generation healthcare ecosystem in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi. The future of Burjeel Medical City aims to integrate advanced clinical care, cancer treatment, medical education, and research, enhancing Abu Dhabi's status as a center for specialized healthcare.

## Expansion Plans

The expansion of Burjeel Medical City, covering 387,000 square meters, will provide patients with access to advanced therapies and specialized care. This development is part of a broader initiative by VPS Health to advance pharmaceutical manufacturing and next-generation therapies in the UAE.

## New Initiatives

VPS Health announced significant projects, including a Dh700 million expansion of LIFEPharma at KEZAD and a Dh100 million gene therapy initiative targeting rare inherited blood disorders. These efforts aim to establish the UAE as a hub for healthcare innovation and manufacturing, in line with the country's national goals.
