## GWM's New Platform and Engine

At Auto China 2026 in Beijing, Great Wall Motor (GWM) introduced its latest technological advancements, including the GWM ONE S platform and a 4.0T V8 engine. The GWM ONE S platform is notable for being the first premium all-powertrain platform with integrated AI, supporting five different powertrain types: plug-in hybrid, hybrid, battery electric, hydrogen, and internal combustion.

## Performance and Efficiency

The platform boasts impressive performance metrics, such as a plug-in hybrid variant that accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds and offers a range of 1,377 km. The battery electric variant can reach 80% charge in 10 minutes and has a range exceeding 660 km. These features are particularly beneficial for the Middle East market, where GWM is expanding its presence.

## Advanced Transmission and Engine Design

GWM also showcased its 9-speed transmission, the 9DCT, which is designed for efficiency and performance with a compact structure. The new 4.0T V8 engine features a 90° V-angle design for balance and reduced vibration, along with twin turbochargers and a water-cooled intercooler for compactness and power.

## Intelligent Ecosystem

Beyond powertrains, GWM highlighted its proprietary technology ecosystem, including advanced battery cells and a 100 kW hydrogen fuel cell system. The Coffee Pilot 3 driving assistance and Coffee OS 3 cockpit system enhance autonomous driving and connectivity, aiming to meet global market demands.

## Global and Regional Strategy

GWM serves over 16 million customers worldwide, with a strong focus on the Middle East. The company is represented in the UAE by the Saeed Juma Al Naboodah Group, which supports GWM's commitment to quality and customer service. The introduction of brands like HAVAL, TANK, and soon Wey & ORA, underscores GWM's strategy to bring its best technology and design closer to Middle Eastern consumers.
